Over the past 5 years,  CrossFit Zone has posted content on the website 5 days a week.  These posts consisted of helpful tips on exercises, nutrition or fun facts.  We have spent many hours coming up with this content or searching online for great articles for our members.  Blog posts seem to be a thing of the past… We have noticed over the last few months that our members are spending more time on the Facebook page instead of our website.  We understand that there is a lot of information posted on our website as well as many other CrossFit/Fitness sites.  To save you the time from reading posts everyday and feeling bad for just scrolling down to see the workout,  we will only be posting articles a couple times a week.  These posts will be very helpful information and worth taking the time to read.

If there is something that you would like us to write about or a member that should be recognized, please let us know!

Workout of the Day

WARMUP

3x
-bear crawl
-backwards inchworms
-5 flip squats
-5 windmills (per side)

WOD

3 Rounds for time:

Run: 400M
Wall Ball: 20 (14/20)
Toes to bar: 15

Zone 2 – scale WB to 10/14, scale TTB as high as possible, focus on shoulder retraction and pushing the bar
Zone 1 – scale as needed

STRENGTH

Back Squat 5-5-5-5-5 (Establish 5 RM)

CASH OUT

Couch stretch – 2 min per side

    Hi there! I just came across your website and found out you’re 5 mins from my house! I currently go to the gym and lift weights, but have been a bit scared by CrossFit. I see you’re having an event on Saturday, is this for anyone, or only open to members and their friends? I would be interested in coming to try it out! Thanks 🙂
