Today’s Workout

Buy-in: 3 rounds of – 30 single skips, 20 situps, 10 kbs

WOD:  “Again Faster WOD 11”

Recently, a major equipment supplier from the US (AgainFaster), decided to create a team 0f elite CrossFit athletes.  In a proactive move, AF sponsored these athletes and will help cover their travel and equipment needs – which I believe is a first in the CrossFit world.  Part of the deal is that the sponsored athletes have to participate in a series of online challenges, in which regular crossfitters from all over the world can compete in.  This wod is the most recent version of that competition.

Here are some of the best male and female times – Austin Malleolo: 5:55, Peter Egyed – 6:27, Heather Bergeron – 10:52, Michelle Kinney 11:32.  Some athletes chose a different format to complete the work compared to what we will do below, but all of the times are comparable as the total work completed is the same.  Check out videos of these and other great competitors here.

Elite – for time:

  • 120 double unders
  • 25 deadlifts (175/225)
  • 40 thrusters (45lb bar)
  • 80 double unders
  • 15 deadlifts (175/225)
  • 35 thrusters

Zone 4 – scale deadlifts to 135/185

Zone 3 – scale deadlifts to 115/155

Zone 2 – scale deadlifts as needed, scale to single skips

Zone 1 – scale as needed
