Membership Benefits

You may not know this, but being a Crossfit Zone member offers many benefits to being a member that you are probably not taking advantage of. What’s all this, you ask? Well, I’ll tell you!
In addition to our regular classes instructed by qualified coaches, we offer nutrition and goal counseling, and one-on-one skills sessions. These skills sessions are without a doubt one of our most valuable and complimentary services that we provide to our clients.

Private Skill Lesson:

20 minute session to work one on one with a Coach on a skill of your choice. Getting better at the skills will help get you stronger and more efficient in the workouts

Goal Setting:

20 minute one on one session with a Coach to break down all your goals into long term, and short term goals. This session will help to clarify what you need you to work on to get better in the gym.

Nutrition Check in:

we recommend that you keep a food journal of everything that you put in your mouth. The Check In is a 20 minute one on one session with a Coach who will go over your journal and give you tips on how to make it better. With accountability comes healthier choices. Keep in mind that we are not registered dietitians and do not prescribe food plans or tell you what to eat.

Guest Passes:

Here is your chance to bring a friend or a family member to class and show what CrossFit Zone is all about. Please contact the coach ahead of time to let them know you are bringing a guest. In this session your job is to make sure your guest is comfortable. Take them through the warmup prior to class and stay close to them throughout the workout.

Family Discount:

If you are already a member, your family / spouse will receive a discounted membership.

High Performance program:

A program for athletes to take their training to the next level above “RX” (as prescribed workouts). This training program is additional to the regular programming to help athletes prepare to compete in CrossFit Competitions. These sessions are held at CrossFit Zone and off site. The sessions include heavy lifting, team workouts, and exposure to other equipment such as sleds, prowlers and strong man equipment.  We also offer extra lifting and skills to add to your workout schedule weekly.

Lifting sessions:

A program that is offered outside of regular classes to allow athletes to be exposed to a more regular lifting schedule to help increase strength and get to the RX (as prescribed) weights in the regular programming. These sessions are led by a coach who will assist with technique and offer tips to improve your lifts. You must have a good base on all the lifts and have attended a Foundation Seminar before participating in this program.

Regular Open gym:

This is an extra session that is not included in your regular allotment of classes. In this session athletes are permitted to come in and work on skills, lifts and a workout (wod) of their choice. There will be a fully certified coach on site, but they will not be leading a class. The coach is there to make sure that the sessions are run safely, but not instructing movements. You must attend a Foundation Seminar before participating in this program and be on a Gold or Platinum membership.

Foundation Seminar:

This seminar will deliver a comprehensive understanding of the CrossFit program and can be seen as CrossFit 101. We offer a seamless integration into group classes where the concentration is focused more on refinement of technique and development of athletic capacities. In these seminar we teach the basic movements such as squats, presses and Olympic lifting. It is a requirement that new athletes attend a seminar within their first month of training or sign up for one on one sessions in lieu of.

Zone Games:

An in house competition that is held 2 times a year for athletes who want to get a taste of an official competition and who want to challenge themselves over and above the pursuit of the daily WOD. The competition is typically three events, covering as many possible time domains and modes of fitness to achieve the best all-round challenge of your abilities. Athletes will be scored by placing in all the WODs and will be ranked on the basis of their overall performance.

Military, Fire, Police, Full-Time student discounts:

Proof of position is required before the discount is honoured.
